PowerPoint for the Macintosh does not.

If you are using PowerPoint 4.0 for the Macintosh you can use the Publish
And Subscribe command (on the Edit menu) to achive similar functionality to
linking. To publish and subscribe with Microsoft Office 4.2.x programs on
the Macintosh do the following:
 
To publish:

1. Select the item to be published. This can be part of a Word document, a
   Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, or a PowerPoint slide (selected in Slide
   Sorter view).
 
2. On the Edit menu, click Create Publisher.
 
3. Type the name of the new edition file and click Publish.
 
To subscribe:
-------------
 
1. Place the insertion point in the area of the document where you want the
   item to come in.
 
2. On the Edit menu, click Subscribe.
 
3. Navigate to the folder that contains the edition file you want to use.
 
4. Select the edition file and click Subscribe.
 
PowerPoint only supports Create Publisher from Slide Sorter View and
Subscribe when in Slide View.
