SYMPTOMS
========
 
Certain characters may be truncated when you use a font such as the Arial
italic font. This truncation occurs only if the column is right aligned.
 
WORKAROUND
==========
 
To work around this problem, try a different font, center or left align the
column, or use one of the font's other available styles (bold, regular, or
bold italic).
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.

The characters that are effected by this problem are:
 
   Lowercase: d f i j l q r v w y
   Uppercase: H I W M N P T U V W X Y
 
The amount of the character that is truncated varies based on the slant of
the individual character when it is displayed in the italic style.
