SYMPTOMS
========

If you have Works 4.0 installed on a computer that has an external or
secondary monitor, the computer may stop responding (hang) if Works 4.0 is
running on the additional monitor while you are using the Draw Tools.

The following example describes the problem using a Macintosh SE/30 with an
external color monitor.

In the Monitors Control Panel, the SE/30 monitor is set as Monitor 1 and
the external color monitor is set as Monitor 2. If you are running Works
4.0 on Monitor 2, some of the tool options such as shape, fill, and
overlay may cause the computer to hang.

RESOLUTION
==========

To correct this problem, do the following:

 - Move the Works 4.0 window from the Monitor 2 screen onto the
   Monitor 1 screen.
