SYMPTOMS
========
 
The WordPerfect 5.1 for MS-DOS converter does not appear in the Save File
As Type list, even though you have done a complete installation of
Microsoft Office 4.2 or 4.2.1.
 
NOTE: This installation of Office includes Microsoft Word for the 
Macintosh, version 6.x.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This problem occurs when you install Office 4.2 or 4.2.1 and you have
not previously installed the stand-alone version of Word.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
Use the WordPerfect 5.x for Windows converter to save documents in the
WordPerfect 5.1 for MS-DOS format.
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
