SUMMARY
=======
 
If you cancel Online Bill Payment or Online Banking with Online
Services and later decide to reactivate the service, you need to
disable these services in Money and then re-enable them before using
Online Services again.

To disable Online Services, use the appropriate method for your
version of Money.
 
NOTE: Only follow these steps if you have contacted Online Services
and verified that your account was actually canceled and then re-
established. Disabling Online Services for an active account can have
serious repercussions, as outlined in the following Microsoft Knowledge

Money 99 and 98
---------------
 
These steps are only required for Banks using ISC or OFC.
 
 1. Click Online (Online Banking in Money 98) on the navigation bar.
 
 2. Click the arrow to the left of the word Online to get a list
    of all the available Banks, and click the correct Bank.
 
 3. In the left pane, click Online Setup (Getting Started in Money 98).
 
 4. Click number 5 "Change Online Services".
 
 5. Keep clicking Next until you reach the dialog box stating "Select
    the account you would like to set up for Online Services."
 
 6. Click the the account you want to disable the services for and
    click Next.
 
 7. Clear the Online Statements and Online Bill Payment check boxes.
 
 8. Click Next.
 
 9. Depending upon the number of services you are turning off, Money
    asks at least once if you want to disable the service. Make sure
    you read the dialog boxes explaining the results of disabling
    online banking and/or online bill payment.
 
10. Click Yes. Your account's Online Services are now turned off.
    Repeat for each account you want to disable.
 
11. To enable your account for Online Services again, click number 5
    "Change Online Services."
 
12. Work through the dialog boxes.
 
    NOTE: You should confirm all of your personal information
    based upon the new reference guide sent to you by your bank or
    Online Services.
 
13. Make sure you place a check in the Online Statements and/or
    Online Bill Payment check boxes.
 
14. Click Next. Make sure your Account Number and Account Type are
    correct.
 
15. Click Next. Make sure your bank routing number is correct.
 
16. Click Next (and click Finish, if it appears). Your account is now
    set up for Online Services again.
 
Money 5.0
---------
 
These steps are only required for Banks using ISC or OFC.
 
 1. Click Home Banking in the Contents screen.
 
 2. Click the Bank name to get a list of all the available Banks, and
    click on the correct Bank.
 
 3. Click the Accounts tab.
 
 4. Click Select Online Services.
 
 5. Keep clicking Next until you reach the dialog box stating "Select
    the account you would like to set up for Online Services."
 
 6.  Click the first account and click Next.
 
 7.  Clear the Banking and Online Bill Payment check boxes.
 
 8. Click Next.
 
 9. Depending upon the number of services you are turning off, Money
    asks at least once if you want to disable the service. Make sure
    you read the dialog boxes explaining the results of disabling
    online banking and/or online bill payment.
 
10. Click Yes. Your account's Online Services are now turned off.
    Repeat for each account you wish to cancel.
 
11. To enable your account for Online Services again, click the
    Select Online Services button from the Accounts tab.
 
12. Work through the dialog boxes.
 
    NOTE: You should confirm all of your personal information
    based upon the new reference guide sent to you by your bank or
    Online Services.

Money 4.0, 4.0a
---------------
 
 1. Click Account Manager in the Contents screen.
 
 2. Click the account you want to disable.
 
 3. Click Account Details.
 
 4. Click Select Online Services.
 
 5. Click to clear the Banking and Online Bill Payment check boxes.
 
 6. Click Next.
 
 7. Depending upon the number of services you are turning off, Money
    asks at least once if you want to disable the service. Make sure
    you read the dialog boxes explaining the results of disabling
    online banking and/or online bill payment.
 
 8. Click Yes. Your account's Online Services are now turned off.
 
 9. To enable your account for Online Services again, click the
    Set Up Online Services, or Select Online Services button in
    Account Details.
 
    NOTE: The button name varies depending upon how many accounts,
    if any, you have established for Online Services.
 
10. Work through the dialog boxes.
 
    NOTE: You should confirm all of your personal information
    based upon the new reference guide sent to you by your bank or
    Online Services.
 
11. Make sure you place a check in the Online Banking and/or
    Online Bill Payment check boxes.
 
12. Click Next. Make sure your Account number and Account type are
    correct.
 
13. Click Next. Make sure you have selected your bank from the list
    and that your bank routing number is correct. If your bank isn't
    on the list, select (My Bank Isn't On This List).
 
14. Click Next (and click Finish, if it appears). Your account is now
    set up for Online Services again.
 
Money 3.0
---------
 
 1. On the Lists menu, click Account List.
 
 2. Click the account you want to disable. Then click Money On-Line
    Services.
 
 3. Click to clear the Pay On-Line and Bank On-Line check boxes.
 
 4. Click OK.
 
 5. Money prompts you with at least one Confirmation dialog box. Be
    sure to read the dialog boxes explaining the results of turning
    off online banking and/or online bill payment. Click Yes for
    each dialog box.
 
    NOTE: You may be prompted to send a letter to Online Services.
    In this case, you may ignore this suggestion since you are
    reactivating, not discontinuing service.
 
 6. Your online accounts are disabled.
 
 7. To set up your account for Online Services again, select the
    account in the Account List and click Money On-Line Services.
 
 8. Make sure the Pay On-Line and/or Bank On-Line boxes are checked.
 
 9. If you are setting up Bank On-Line, do the following:
 
     a. Verify that the Account Description is correct.
 
     b. Select the appropriate Financial Institution. If your financial
        Institution is not listed, click Other.
 
     c. Type your routing number in the Bank Routing Number box at the
        bottom of the dialog box.
 
10. Click OK. Your account is now reset.
