SYMPTOM
=======
 
When you type a password to enter a shared room you get a one of the these
messages:
 
   That isn't the right password!
 
   The password you typed wasn't correct.
   Because you created the password, I'll let
   you in anyway.
 
   For next time, here is the fantabulous
   password:
 
-or-
 
   Oops!
   That's not the right
   password!
 
This occurs even if you typed the correct password.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This occurs if the password is the maximum length (20 characters). If you
created the password for the shared room you will be allowed to enter; if
you did not create the password you will receive the error message above
and will not be allowed into the room.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
When you create a password for a shared room ensure the password is 19
characters or less.
 
To create a valid password for a shared room, do the following:
 
1. Go to the shared room.
 
2. Click OK when prompted for a password. (don't type anything in
   the password box)
 
3. Click the Other Options squishy.
 
4. Click the Change Something squishy.
 
5. Click the This Room squishy.
 
6. Click the Add or Change Its Password squishy.
 
7. Type a new password with 19 characters or less and click
   the green arrow.
 
8. Type the same password to verify it and click the green arrow.
 
You now have a valid password for the shared room.
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Bob version
1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
