SUMMARY
=======

Because of physical read limitations of some CD-ROM drives, some files and
folders on the Ultimate Frank Lloyd Wright (FLW) version 1.0 for the
Macintosh compact disc may be inaccessible from your CD-ROM drive. This
article lists those files and tells how to test your drive.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The CD-ROM drive may have difficulty reading the files located on the
CD-ROM disc. The files are:

   Files Location on Disc
   ----- ----------------

   FLW\PRE\FLW\Tuflw22.aif 581 MB
   FLW\PRE\FLW\Flwchg.dir 561 MB
   FLW\PRE\FLW\Flwdef.dir 541 MB
   FLW\PRE\FLW\Flweh.dir 521 MB
   FLW\PRE\FLW\Flweh13.dir 501 MB

NOTE: The Ultimate Frank Lloyd Wright compact disc contains 581 MB of
data. The final file on the disc is Tuflw22.aif.

Testing Your CD-ROM Drive
-------------------------

The CD-ROM drive may have difficulty reading files located on the
outer portion, or track, of the compact disc. To test for specific drive-
capacity limitations, do the following:

1. Insert the FLW compact disc into the CD-ROM drive.

2. Open the FLW disc.

3. Open the PRE Folder.

4. Open the FLW Folder.

5. Drag the following files to your hard drive icon.

      Tuflw22.aif
      Flwchg.dir
      Flwdef.dir
      Flweh.dir
      Flweh13.dir

If the following error message appears while you copy any of the files,
then your CD-ROM drive cannot read the disc at the specified location:

The file <file name> couldn't be read, because a disk error occurred.
Do you want to continue copying?

where <file name> is the name of the file you are copying.

If the file does copy, compare its size with the file on the disc. To
compare file size information, do the following:

1. Locate the file on the disc.

2. Click the file one time.

3. On the File Menu, click Get Info.

4. On the line displaying the Size, make note of the number of bytes
   used.

5. Repeat steps 1-4 with the file that was copied to the hard drive.

The files should use an identical number of bytes. If the number of bytes
is different, that means the CD-ROM drive is having problems reading the
disc.

For additional information, contact your CD-ROM drive manufacturer.
