SUMMARY

The keyboard shortcut SHIFT+"(SHIFT+quotation mark) is designed to paste
field information from the last transaction entered into the currently
selected field.
 
However, SHIFT+" is not designed to paste information when you are in the
Split dialog box.
 
MORE INFORMATION
================
 
After you select the split option, SHIFT+" does not paste information into
the transaction fields. After one line of the split transaction has been
entered into the split dialog box, SHIFT+" pastes information from the
last line entered into the currently selected field.
