SUMMARY
=======

When necessary, you can set the Input parameters in Toonz to facilitate the
coloration of small, enclosed areas of an image in Inknpaint.

MORE INFORMATION
================

It is easier to color small, enclosed areas of an image at a higher
resolution. To increase image resolution, either change the Closest value
in the Input parameters to a value two numbers lower than the Field value
or work at 1K resolution instead of NTSC resolution. Setting the Closest
value lower than the Field value increases the number of pixels that define
the area of the image.

NOTE: When using this method of increased image resolution, you don't need
to re-scan the image at a higher DPI, select a higher working resolution
value, or change the output format.

Complete the following steps to use this method of increased image
resolution:

1. Scan the image normally.

2. In Input parameters, set the Closest value to a value two numbers
   lower than the Field value; that is, if Field=6, set Closest to 4.

3. Color the image as required, including small, enclosed areas of the
   image.

If the Closest value for the image is already set to a number lower than
the Field value, proceed directly from step 1 to step 3.

Color filling becomes easier as the number of pixels increases. However, as
the number of pixels increases, both the size of the image and the amount
of processing time required for the image also increase.

If the final output of the image is destined for 35mm film (2K resolution
or greater), it is unnecessary to color minute areas such as those
described here as they will not be visible in the final output.
