SUMMARY
=======

Not all Microsoft Money member banks choose to offer Online Quotes as one
of their online banking packages. This is a banking decision and not a
limitation of Microsoft Money.

You can sign up with Online Services independently of your bank
for a House account to obtain Online Quotes. Contact Online Service for
fee information when using Online Quotes.

Both Money 98 and Money 5.0 offer Internet Quotes as well as the normal
Online Quotes service provided by Online Services. So if your bank does
not provide Quotes you can use Internet Quotes if you have Internet access.
Internet Quotes is a free service.

This article lists the banks that currently offer Online Quotes. This
list is constantly changing. If you don't see your bank on the list,
contact them to determine if they have plans to offer this service.

At the current time, the following banks offer Online Quotes for Money
Online Banking:

   Centura Bank
   Chase Bank
   Compass Bank
   Corestates Bank
   Crestar Bank
   First Chicago Bank
   Home Savings Bank
   M & T Bank
   Marquette Bank
   Michigan National Bank
   Sanwa Bank
   Smith Barney
   Union Bank
   US Bank
   Wells Fargo

MORE INFORMATION
================

If your bank does not offer Online Quotes, the service can be obtained
directly through Online Services.

NOTE: In Money 3.0 and 4.0, if you use Online Bill Payment and/or
Online Banking through your bank, accessing Online Quotes directly from
Online Services requires a totally separate Money data file and a
separate account number with Online Services. For Money 5.0, you will
not need a separate Money data file.

Make a note on the application form that this should be set up in
addition to the account you already have with your bank.

The charge for this is about $4.00 for six calls.

For more information about signing up for Online Quotes, please see the

Issues with Separate Money Files
--------------------------------

If your investments are stored in a different file used for Online
Quotes and you are purchasing stock as a transfer or buy investment
from your regular checking account, you should continue to track these
purchases in your primary file. If you do not track them in the
primary file, your overall financial picture will be incomplete. If
you track purchases in both accounts, you will still need to manually
update the prices in your primary account.

If you ever choose to merge the separate files in the future, and you
have transfer transactions to accounts outside of the investment
account, you may find you have duplicate transactions in the merged
file. Also, when investment accounts are exported, the price history
is not included.
