SUMMARY
=======

Here are two methods to process images without any anti-aliasing in
Softimage Toonz.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Use either "Method One" or "Method Two" to process images without any anti-
aliasing.

Method One
----------

1. Scan the images as usual being sure to process it with a high contrast.
   This prevents any grey or anti-aliasing from infiltrating the images.

2. Instead of processing the images with CASM or with Batches, use the
   Convert stand-alone to convert the files from .tzu or .tzp files to
   .tiff, .rgb, or .tga files. The Convert stand-alone converts files
   without adding any anti-aliasing to the files.

The drawback to this method is that it is unsuitable for long sequences of
images because it requires that you advance manually frame by frame through
the sequence.

Method Two
----------

1. Render the images as usual.

2. Use the Quantize stand-alone to reduce the colors in the images. This
   eliminates anti-aliasing in the images.
