SYMPTOMS

When you paste tab-delimited text from MacWrite II into a Works 3.0 for
the Macintosh spreadsheet, the text may not be pasted into separate cells.
It may instead be pasted into the first cell of each row for the
appropriate number of rows.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To avoid this problem, paste the text into a new Works word processing
document first. Then, paste the information from the new document into
the spreadsheet.
