The information in this article applies to:
WINDOW.MAXIMIZE() is a new macro function in Microsoft Excel 4.0 used to maximize the active window. It takes one optional argument, window_text, to specify which window to switch to and maximize. Page 456 of the Microsoft Excel version 4.0 "Function Reference" states that if the window_text is omitted, the active window stays the same. This is untrue. If window_text is omitted, the active window is maximized. In addition, the example shows the WINDOW.MAXIMIZE() function without the window_text argument and states that this function will maximize all windows. This is technically untrue. When you maximize a window, each window that you then activate is maximized as well. They are not, however, maximized until they are activated.
