The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMS
Custom Setup creates a program group for each icon you install, and one
additional empty program group. For example, if Custom Setup is supposed to
create one program group containing two icons, Setup actually creates three
program groups, only two of which contain an icon.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if your application is being installed on a computer
running Microsoft Windows 3.0, and the application name you specified in
the last screen of the Custom Setup Wizard is longer than 24 characters.
RESOLUTION
Reduce the length of the program group name.
STATUS
This behavior no longer occurs in the Microsoft Access Developer's Toolkit
version 2.0.
