PowerPoint Slows Down When More Than 100 Fonts in Font Folder

SYMPTOMS

If you run PowerPoint while there are more than 100 fonts in the Fonts folder, PowerPoint will operate at a very slow speed when loading slides.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem remove additional fonts from the System folder.
