The information in this article applies to:

    • Microsoft Schedule+ for AppleTalk Networks, version 1.0, running with Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks, version 3.0 or 3.1

Version 1.0 of Microsoft Schedule+ for AppleTalk Networks requires version 3.0 or later of Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks. Schedule+ will not run on a Macintosh that is using Microsoft Mail for PC Networks, Macintosh workstation. The following error message will appear when you attempt to run Schedule+ on a Macintosh that does not have version 3.0 or later of Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks installed:

Schedule+ cannot be used without Microsoft Mail, and the latest
version of "MS Mail" was not loaded when you started up. Please
verify that it is in your Systems Folder and restart your Mac

If a meeting request is sent to a user on a Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks postoffice without the forms installed properly on the server, the following error message will be displayed as the text of the meeting request:

This message was sent using a custom form that is not installed
on your server. Some information from the original message may not
be displayed. To view the complete message, ask your network manager
to install the form on your server.

Schedule+ interacts directly with Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks. Therefore, it must have access to the MS Mail Chooser extension. This Chooser extension is not a part of the Macintosh client of Microsoft Mail for PC Networks.

Additionally, the above error message may be displayed if the Mail client for Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks has not been correctly loaded.
