SUMMARY

Page 47 of the FoxPro Connectivity Kit "User's Guide" incorrectly lists the default values for ConnTimeout as 0 and GenTimeout as 15; the default value for ConnTimeout is 15 and the default value for GenTimeout is 0.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

1. From the File menu, choose New, select Program, and then choose

   New.

2. Input the following:

      SET LIBRARY TO fpsql
      ?DBGetOpt(0,'GenTimeOut')
      ?DBGetOpt(0,'ConnTimeOut')

   If you are using FoxPro for MS-DOS, the library file is FPSQL.PLB
   and is normally located in the FOXPRO25 directory. In FoxPro for
   Windows, the library file is FPSQL.FLL and is usually located in
   the FOXPROW directory.

3. Save the file as TEST.PRG.

4. In the Command window, type the following:

      DO test.prg

Note that the program returns 0 for the GenTimeout default and 15 for the ConnTimeout default.
