SYMPTOMS

If you try to run the Lotus Notes application as an MS-DOS-based application, it fails.

CAUSE

Some bound applications, such as Lotus Notes, use PM APIs not supported by the OS/2 subsystem.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem:

Use a Windows Notes client.
Disable the OS/2 subsystem.
