SYMPTOMS
The File Locks information in the MacFile Properties dialog box
(accessed through Control Panel) is sometimes different than the
information in the "Files Opened by Macintosh Users on Servername"
dialog box (accessed by clicking the Files button). Usually, the
number of locked files in the MacFile list is higher.
CAUSE
This behavior can be caused by a Macintosh placing a lock on a file, a
PC deletes the file, and the Macintosh continues to try to unlock the
file.
