WD6X: Cannot Repeat "Insert Word Field" Command

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

After you insert a field by clicking the Insert Word Field button on the Mail Merge toolbar, you cannot repeat the action by clicking Repeat on the Edit menu or by pressing F4.

In contrast, you can repeat the Insert Merge Field command.


WORKAROUND

Instead of pressing F4 to insert another Word field, choose the Insert Word Field button again on the Mail Merge toolbar.
