SUMMARYIn Microsoft Excel, print titles will always be printed if they are defined. This is by design. To remove the print titles:
MORE INFORMATIONIn Microsoft Excel when you print your document, you can select one of three print options under Print What in the Print dialog box.
This option Prints the following
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Selection The selected range (or selected sheets, if in
group edit mode) on the active sheet.
Selected Sheets The printable area of the active sheet (or
sheets, if in group edit mode) is printed.
Entire Workbook The printable area of all sheets in the
workbook is printed.
If you choose to print the selection only, Microsoft Excel ignores any
print area that you may have defined on any of your sheets and prints
only the currently selected area.
This situation does not apply to print titles. Microsoft Excel will always print defined print titles regardless of which print option you select.
