SYMPTOMS
You cannot add vertical bar tabs from the ruler in Microsoft Word 6.0 and
later.
WORKAROUND
To add a vertical bar tab, follow these steps:
- On the Format menu, click Tabs.
- Type a position in the Tab stop position text box.
- Under Alignment, click Bar.
- Click OK.
