SYMPTOMS
Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.
When you set your screen and text colors in MS-DOS using ANSI.SYS
or a similar utility (such as the Norton Screen Attribute, SA.EXE) the
colors are changed after you run Microsoft Access.
CAUSE
This problem occurs for two reasons:
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access versions
1.0, 1.1, and 2.0. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access for
Windows 95 version 7.0, nor with any version of Microsoft Access running
under Windows 95.
