There is no audio output when you play an audio CD from CD Player or
Media Player within Windows NT when using a CD-ROM drive connected to
a Media Vision Pro AudioSpectrum 16 sound card.
CAUSE
Use of the audio cable from the audio out port on the back of the
CD-ROM drive to J5 (internal audio CD-ROM connector) on the Pro
AudioSpectrum 16 was not supported with the initial release of Windows
NT.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S.
