In Microsoft Excel, if you choose Clear, and then choose All, from the Edit menu when an unlocked cell is selected, the cell will change from an unlocked cell to a locked cell. NOTE: In versions 4.x and earlier, choose the Clear All command from the Edit menu. The default protection status for all worksheet cells is "locked." When you choose Clear All from the Format menu, the cell reverts back to this default protection status. This is expected behavior.
