FIX: Error When Transporting Project Under Windows 3.0a VGA

SYMPTOMS

Transporting a FoxPro 2.0 for MS-DOS project file to FoxPro 2.5 for Windows format when FoxPro is running under Microsoft Windows operating system version 3.0a with the standard VGA video driver causes the following Transporter error:

   Position is off screen.
   Line Number: 7919
   Press any key to cleanup and exit...

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro 2.5 for Windows. This problem was corrected in FoxPro 2.5a for Windows.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

1. In FoxPro 2.0 for MS-DOS, create a program file named MAIN.PRG,

   containing the following code:

      WAIT WINDOW 'In main program'

2. Create a project and add the MAIN.PRG program file to the project.

3. Save the project as TEST.PJX, then quit FoxPro 2.0 for MS-DOS.

4. Start FoxPro 2.5 for Windows under Windows 3.0a using the standard

   VGA video driver, then open TEST.PJX.

5. When prompted by the message, "Change 2.0 project file to 2.5

   format?", choose the Yes button.

The following Transporter error is displayed:

   Position is off screen.
   Line Number: 7919
   Press any key to cleanup and exit...

After pressing any key, the following message is displayed:

   Conversion canceled.
