SUMMARYIn Microsoft Excel, the Dialog Editor does not create text edit boxes consistently when you clear the Auto check box next to Height in the Edit Text Info dialog box.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in a later version of Microsoft Excel.
WORKAROUNDIn the Dialog Editor, when you change the height of a text edit box, consecutive text edit boxes assume the same height as the first. To change the height of the text edit box, clear the Auto check box next to Height in the Edit Text Info dialog box, and then type a new height or manually resize the height of the box. To create consecutive text edit boxes that look like the default text edit box, do any of the following:
edit boxes (item 6) and insert an item 5 (text) in the first column such that no other data appears in columns 2 through 7.REFERENCES "User's Guide 2," version 4.0, pages 263-275 "User's Guide," version 3.0 for Windows, pages 624-635 "User's Guide," version 3.0 for the Macintosh, pages 620-631
