After DLC Installed, Exception Error in SPOOLSS.EXE

SYMPTOMS

You install the DLC protocol from Control Panel. When you click OK, an exception error in SPOOLSS.EXE occurs. If you restart Windows NT, the DLC protocol looks as if it is installed, but it is not functional.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1.
