SUMMARY

While running Setup, you may receive the following error message:
Warning: Microsoft Works for Windows version 3.0 requires a VGA or compatible video graphics adapter. Setup has detected that your computer does not meet this requirement. You may have display problems when running Works.
This error message will occur any time you attempt to run Setup while using a Windows video driver that does not support at least 640 x 480 resolution, such as CGA or EGA.

MORE INFORMATION

This problem will also occur if you are running Setup on COMPAQ portables with a plasma display. This display was marketed as supporting VGA resolution, however, it only supports 640 x 400 resolution.
