Hivehdr is inappropriately referenced on pages 291, 353, and 956 of the Windows NT Resource Guide (Volume 1 of the Windows NT Resource Kit). Hivehdr is described as a hive recovery utility used to determine whether or not a hive is in transition. The program HIVEHDR.EXE is not included in the Windows NT Resource Kit.
