SYMPTOMS
If you select Portuguese language, the accent circumflex (^) key does
not properly create the Portuguese A, I, O, or U characters. (In
Portuguese, the accent circumflex mark would appear above these
vowels.) You can use the ALT key to specify the ASCII number for the
character.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows
NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the
latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server
version 3.1. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on
