The information in this article applies to:

Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, versions 2.5 and 2.5a

SYMPTOMS

Issuing a SET HELP TO command while a BROWSE command is in effect causes the Browse window to close.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro versions 2.5 and 2.5a for MS-DOS (both the 16-bit and 32-bit versions). This problem was corrected in FoxPro 2.5b for MS-DOS.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

1. In the Command window, issue the following commands:

      USE <table_name>
      BROWSE

2. In the Command window, issue the following command:

      HELP

3. Close the Help window.

4. In the Command window, issue the following command:

      SET HELP TO

The Browse window closes.
