SYMPTOMSIn the Standard (16-bit) version of FoxPro for MS-DOS (FOXPRO.EXE), issuing the APPEND MEMO, COPY MEMO, or REPLACE memo1 WITH memo2 command corrupts the memo field. (The information at the end of the file becomes corrupted with ASCII symbols.) This problem, which also occurs in general or picture fields, occurs when the size of the field exceeds 300K.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro 2.0, 2.5, and 2.5a for MS-DOS. This problem was corrected in FoxPro 2.5b for MS-DOS.
