SYMPTOMS

If you insert an object, such as a drawing, into a paragraph that is surrounded with a border, you may notice that the border is hidden by the drawing.

This occurs if you have inserted the object close to the edges of the paragraph and you have formatted the text to wrap around the object in an absolute manner. In other words, you have chosen Picture/Object from the Format menu, then chose Absolute as your Text Wrap option.

RESOLUTION

In order to display the border, you will need to move the object away from the edges of the paragraph until the border displays.

Steps to move an object:

Choose the object by clicking on it once with the left mouse button. The cursor will change to an arrow labeled "drag."
Hold down the left mouse button (the arrow will now be labeled "move") and move the cursor to a point further inside the paragraph, away from the edge.
Release the left mouse button and the object will be moved to the new position.
Repeat steps 1 through 3 until the object no longer hides the border.
