SUMMARY

A documentation error occurs on page 537, Appendix B, Remote Access Service, of the Windows NT "System Guide." The first bulleted heading reads:

   " - To install a wide area network adapter"

This is incorrect. The instructions that follow this heading describe how to install the Remote Access Service.

MORE INFORMATION

The correct heading for similar instructions appears on page 14 of the "Remote Access Service" booklet for the Windows NT Advanced Server. This heading reads:

   " - To add the Remote Access software"

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Windows NT "System Guide." We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
