Only First 100 Names Listed in the Name Box

You can use any defined name by typing it directly into a formula, or by selecting it from the Paste Name list available by choosing Name from the Insert menu and choosing Paste. But, you can only select from the first 100 defined names with the Names box.

The total number of defined names you can have in a workbook is limited by available memory. For more information about the maximum numbers of elements you can use in a worksheet or workbook, click the Index tab in Microsoft Excel Help, type the following text

and then double-click the selected text to go to the "Microsoft Excel for Windows 95 specifications" topic.
