When performing a step capture, you can enter time limits that exceed the length of the source videodisc (that is, you can capture frames beyond the end of the video source). In this case, the system will stop responding (hang).
Steps to Reproduce the Problem
WORKAROUNDWhen using this option, be sure the set start and stop times are within a valid range for the source videodisc. Video for Windows does not check to make sure the range you set is within the available range on the videodisc.
