SYMPTOMS
After you have been running Windows NT for a while, your computer stops
responding (hangs) with a STOP message:
***STOP: 0x00000051 (0x00000002, 0x000000001, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
REGISTRY_ERROR 0x00000000, 0x00000000
CAUSE
The above message appears when memory was freed in Windows NT, but was not
allocated.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S.
Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server. For information
