Hidden Text Boxes Change When Unhiding Rows

SUMMARY

When you create a number of text boxes on a worksheet that are different heights and widths, and you group them together, then hide the rows, when you unhide the rows, the text boxes will all have the same height and width.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Open new worksheet.

  2. Click Text Box tool

  3. Create three text boxes in the following ranges: B4:C14, E10:E20, and F8:G14

  4. Select all the text boxes.

  5. From the Format menu, choose Group. (In Excel 5.0 choose Format menu,
then select the placement option and then select Group)

  1. Select the rows from 3 to 21.

  2. From the Format menu, choose Row Height and then hide. (In Excel 5.0
choose Format menu, then select the Row option and then select Hide)

  1. From the Format menu, choose Row Height and then Unhide. (In Excel 5.0
choose Format menu, then select the Row option and then select Unhide)

All text boxes will be the same height and width and will be positioned side by side.
