XL5: Can't Sign Out of Microsoft Mail After Routing Document |
If you route a document from Microsoft Excel for Windows version 5.0 by
choosing the Add Routing Slip command on the File menu, you may receive an
error message if you choose the Exit And Sign Out command in Microsoft Mail
before you close Microsoft Excel.
NOTE: Only the Exit And Sign Out command produces the error message. You
can choose the Exit command in Microsoft Mail without receiving an error
message.
This error message occurs because, when you route a document, Microsoft
Excel links to the dynamic link libraries (DLLs) used by Microsoft Mail to
send and receive messages. Microsoft Excel retains the link to the MS Mail
DLLs until you do either of the following:
Run-time error '1004':

A2: Bravo
A3: Charlie
and Microsoft Mail will not sign out properly.Another application has denied your request.
