SUMMARYIn Microsoft Excel versions 5.x and 7.0, to access the name box, you must use a mouse or other pointing device (such as a trackball). You cannot access the name box with key combinations.
MORE INFORMATIONThe name box allows you to define names and select named ranges without having to use the Define Name or Go To dialog boxes. The name box is located in the formula bar. To define a name without using the name box, you must use the Define Name dialog box. To do this using only a keyboard:
