BUG: Status Bar Not Redrawn With SR2TEST When In-Place

SYMPTOMS

After inserting an SR2TEST object into the in-place version of the OUTLINE sample application, the status bar will not be redrawn until the container application's window is resized.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the SR2TEST sample application included with the OLE SDK version 2.01. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

This is not a problem with SR32TEST included with the 32-bit OLE libraries.

Steps to Reproduce

Run ICNTOUTL.EXE.
Choose Insert Object from Edit menu.
Choose OleTest SrTest 2.0 Shape from the list box.
Choose OK.
Resize the container window.
