SYMPTOMS

Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.

When you create a report using a Report Wizard, some of the report's controls are not large enough to display all the data in the controls. This causes the data in the controls' source fields to appear truncated when you print or preview the report. The amount of truncation depends on the type of printer you use.

RESOLUTION

Increase the size of affected controls so that all the data in the controls can be displayed, or choose a smaller font size for the report.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

Create a new table, Table1, with a text field with a field size of 25.
Type "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxy" (without the quotation marks) in the new table.
Use the Report Wizard to create a new report based on the Table1 table. Accept the default wizard options.
Preview the report. Note the truncated field on the report.
