Mac Adm: Global Clear Statistics Does Not Honor Site Names

SYMPTOMS

When you use the version 3.1d Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks Mail Network Administrator to clear statistics globally, site passwords are not honored.

CAUSE

If multiple site names are defined with the same name but different passwords and a Network Manager clears the statistics globally for their site, all servers that share the same site name will be cleared, regardless of site password.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in 3.1d of Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
