SUMMARY
In Works for Windows, you can disable file transfer capabilities by deleting or renaming the protocol (*.FTD) files that are located in the
MSWORKS directory.
After removing the *.FTD files, you will not be able upload or download
any files. If you choose Transfer from the Settings menu, the option to
select a protocol will not be available. The Transfer protocol box will
have "None Available" in it.
