SUMMARY

When you print multiple copies of a single page of labels, the top margin increases by .25 inch for each successive page.

WORKAROUND

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works for Windows version 3.0. This problem was corrected in Works for Windows version 3.0a.

There are two workarounds for this problem:
  1. Specify only one copy in the print dialog box and send the print job to the printer as many times as necessary to print the number of copies you need. -or-

  2. Fill the information down in the database to create as many records as you need to print on the labels.

Steps to reproduce problem:
  1. Open a new Word Processor document.
  2. From the Tools menu, choose Envelopes And Labels.
  3. Choose the Mailing Labels tab.
  4. Insert database fields on three lines.
  5. Select the Avery 5160 label size.
  6. Choose Create Label.
  7. From the File menu, choose Print.
  8. Type 2 in the Number Of Copies box.
  9. Select the Pages button and print from page 1 to 1.

    RESULT: The text starts .75 inch down on the first copy of page one and 1 inch down on the second copy of page one.
