GP Fault Choosing Format Menu in PERT Using ATI Ultra Driver

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project, when you use the ATI Ultra 800-by-600 pixel video driver dated earlier than 8/14/92, when you choose the Format menu while in the PERT chart or Task PERT view, you receive a general projection (GP) fault.


RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, use a version of the driver dated later than 8/14/92. To obtain a later version of this driver, contact ATI Technical Support at (905) 882-2626.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

The following steps cause a GP fault only if you have installed an ATI Ultra video driver with a file date earlier than 8/14/92.

  1. In a new project, choose PERT Chart from the View menu.


  2. From the Format menu, choose Form Details.


You receive a GP fault.
