SYMPTOMS
If two or more field placeholders are placed on one line in a form letter,
and are separated by custom tabs with no other characters on the line,
the field(s) to the right will slide left if any field(s) to the left are
blank. For example:
<<FIELD1>> <<FIELD2>>
If FIELD1 is separated from FIELD2 by a custom tab, the information in
FIELD2 will slide over to the left margin when you print form letters if
FIELD1 is blank.
RESOLUTION
Place a SPACEBAR character immediately after all except the rightmost
database field name placeholder. For example, place the SPACEBAR character
where the "X" is:
<<FIELD1>>X <<FIELD2>>
This will keep the information in FIELD2 from sliding over to the left
margin if FIELD1 is blank.
