SUMMARY

 ~ ORA110.EXE (size: 125490 bytes) 
              (an updated ORACLE ODBC driver) is available for download
   from the Microsoft Software Library. It contains the following files:

   ORA110.TXT
   ORACLE.TXT
   SQORA.DL_
   SQORASTP.DL_
   ODBC.INF
   SETUP.EXE

NOTE: The SETUP.EXE file is called by the ODBC control panel facility, and will not run as a stand-alone file.

How to Install the Update After Downloading

Start Microsoft Windows or Windows NT.

    a. If you are running Windows 3.1, open Control Panel.

    b. If you are running Windows 3.0 or NT, open the ODBC program group.

Double-click the ODBC icon.
In the Data Sources dialog box, choose the Drivers button.
In the Drivers dialog box, choose Add.
Enter the drive letter and directory from which you are installing the update.
Select ORACLE from the list of available drivers and choose OK.
ODBC Setup will install the updated driver. If an ORACLE ODBC driver of the same version number or higher exists on the hard disk, ODBC Setup will ask if you want to replace it. Always stay with the most recent version if you are offered this choice.
Choose Close.

The Setup program installs the following new files to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory:

   SQORA.DLL
   SQORASTP.DLL
   ORACLE.TXT

The table below lists the dates and sizes of the old and new files:
