The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARY
Microsoft Access version 1.1 includes an updated UTILITY.MDA file. This
file is not automatically installed when you run the Microsoft Access 1.1
Upgrade Setup program. This behavior is by design, to prevent overwriting
modified versions of the UTILITY.MDA file. This updated UTILITY.MDA file is
available in the Microsoft Software Library (MSL).
If you have modified your copy of the UTILITY.MDA library database--by
customizing toolbars, for example--make sure to make a backup copy of your
existing UTILITY.MDA file before installing the updated file. Then, install
the updated file and modify it to include your changes.
